| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Side step your way to better balance and health using this pedal exerciser from FootSmart. Stepping from side to side gently works legs, hips and thighs and promotes cardiovascular health and balance in as little as 15 minutes a day. Hydraulic cylinders provide quiet resistance and smooth stepping action that's gentle on the knees-a great benefit for those with aching joints. The non-skid, sturdy steel frame has a generously sized footprint to accommodate wider feet. The digital display monitors time, repetitions and calories burned.

| Customer Reviews: Love it - great for daily use August 22, 2010 K. Hatfield (Houston, TX, USA) I've been using this daily for some months now and I really like it. I had been using a rocking side-to-side stepper before, and it was good, but this gives me more of a workout and gets my heart rate up more quickly. It feels very solid and stable, and the sideways set-up is still a lower impact on the knees than many of the standard style steppers.
I recommend this highly and would definitely buy again.
One tip: the plastic/rubber caps on the 'feet' can really rub the carpet, so if you're using this on a carpeted surface you may like to consider putting something else down first - I used a square of plywood, which has solved the problem perfectly.
Great way for a shut-in to exercise! September 3, 2010 G. Recipient (Ga) The only thing I dislike is that I really had no balance when I started. My sense of balance is actually improving with use, however. I'm not losing lots of weight or anything with it, because I have other health issues, but I'm mainly using it for heart health. It's hopefully working for that. Oh, & I hate the way it knocks/jars when it goes down on each side. I cut some foam rubber to go over the lil thin rubber caps. Ah... Sweet cushioning... Less noise.
